About Clark

Clark Knowles lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with his wife. He’s a real tough cookie with a long history. If you can’t find him, he’s probably at yoga.

  1. I certainly did go to UC, for a year and a half. I don’t know if I’ve ever done anything great with writing, but I keep trying. There aren’t any books out there of mine, yet. But hopefully someday. Hope you are well, Linda!

  2. I am just curious to know if this is the Clark I went to University of Charleston with. You let me read a story called “Midnight Conversations”. If this is you I knew you would do something great with your writing. Let me know.

  3. I just read your story, “Boxville, East Boxville” in Glimmer Train and loved it. I was very tired when I was reading it, but the story was too good to let me fall asleep. I look forward to reading more of your work.

  4. Hi Clark,

I am duly impressed to see what a talented cousin I have in New Hampshire. My grandmother and your great-grandmother were sisters. I cannot wait to read your novel. Say hello to the family. Love, Beth

  5. Hey Clark,
You were always so cool in high school! And a sweetheart too. Congrats on your successes, especially your family!

  6. Hi Clark, This is just great! Thank you for sharing with us. I remember in June of 2004 we were all pulling out copies of the NewWorld Thesaurus to make sure our words were right. It was very clear to all of us that you are a very talented, special person…and we continue to know this. You can bet we will be visiting your site often! Love from all of your “Midwest Connection”

  7. I’m a fan of the Clarkissimo group on Facebook. It’s the first step to world domination, baby. Keep up the good work.

  10. Hey Clark,

What a great site! I love the background – peaceful and lovely. Good luck with all of your work – UNH and otherwise. I enjoyed reading, and will check back in as the bleak wonter months progress…

    Best,
    Krista
